Puccini’s La Bohème: Seasons of Love

This Saturday at 1 pm, the Metropolitan Opera presents a 2017 recording of Puccini’s timeless classic La Bohème. Tune in to hear Dmytro Popovas Rodolfo and Angel Blue as Mimì, the poet and seamstress who find love amid poverty, hunger, and disease. They are joined by Rodolfo’s rowdy artistic companions, Marcello (Lucas Meachem), Schaunard (Duncan Rock), and Colline (David Soar). Brigitte Kele sings the role of Musetta, Marcello’s on-again, off-again lover. Alexander Soddy conducts. 

Angel Blue, seen here in her company debut as Mimi in 2017, returns during the 2018-19 season as Musetta in Puccini's La Bohème.
